Black auto 350i on flea. Nothing to do with me Al. Looks a bit of a project but so far good price. Glen - another one for you? It's local!

An auto, either very rare or a conversion

Thought they only did the 280 in the auto? Not for me prefer a manual but only round the corner so may have a look see

My lad has bought it for his first Tvr he's 19 we will be looking out for a peddle box and manuel gearbox to convert it

Insurance could be a problem at 19. My boy was 24 until I got him on my insurance and even then cost £600 extra. Unless he just wants something good to look at.

Did you find out when it was converted to an auto?
Did the factory do it as a special order?

Looks like it has a clutch pedal with a plate joining it to the brake pedal so I guess it was a factory bodge

Had the car on the ramp today looks like was fitted by Fred in a shed pretty sure it used to be a manual

Mmmm. That is VERY VERY cheap. I hope all the details are correct because if not it would make the insurance void. I've never heard of an insurance company giving cover to a 19 year old on a V8 for that sort of money. Not now, not ever. All I can say is well done. Enjoy.

I'm sure he will tony he paid £1300 in the end with brake down cover on a multi car policy he is limited to 3k miles it's a you persons classic policy .he already has got a celica

next mot will show if it was a bargain or a basket case (outtriggers)...reading the manual-automaic bodge...that does not sound promising!!
