I would be interested to know what "the dark side" is in your venerable opinion wink
Good luck with your new toy , it looks lovely and I'm sure it will get lots of use.
What about Filbert for a name .

Is it going to be named?

I propose: 'Goose' on the basis that the no. plate looks a bit like High-Step or G-Tep?

Surely you have thought of one already Glenn?

Congratulations Glen !

Looks like a really lovely car. How long has this been a "cunning plan" of yours then ?

Why is everyone buying two S's cars? Did I miss a meeting ?

That's Glenn, TopGearTVR and Mk1fan all have more than one S

Impressive stuff chaps. I'd better start saving up. (Can one of you explain it all to Mrs B so it isn't too much of a shock for her when the second S appears !)

Seriously though, I'm super impressed and slightly jealous too.

Don't forget Mike had two for a while.

So Glenn, which S will be for trackday duty?

Top result couldn't have gone to a better home. But it leaves me without a local playmate.

Thanks everyone smile As for a name, my sister says the number plate links to 'H' from Steps, so I should call him 'Haitch'.

However, weren't Steps deadly rivals to S Club 7?

Incidentally, I found out today that 'H' died in 2009 frown

Dale, it was Tom Crawford who started the defection to the Dark Side, trading his S for a Chimaera. He has been trying to lure the weak and unwary to join him by employing the power of the Dark Side of the Force for some time now.

I intend to remain on the true path, which we all know is in the shape of many S's driving

I might have to use my wife's awesome Yaris, Stewart wink

It's a dilemma really, as Austin is outpaced, and I don't want to abuse the new on.
scratchchin Now if I had garage space and the spare cash for a trackday S as well......

Now look what you've done! nono

Claudiorobbo should drive should dive an appropriately named car , Fox's fans will know Filbert St was the home of LCFC until 2002 .
And Filbert just sounds like a nice car name and really suitable for an S .
Anything to do with Steps would be a "tragedy"
Dale
PS There is light on the dark side wink

Thankyou Dale thumbup

I Claudio, being only recently returned from my Italian homeland, have neglected to research the history of LCFC, but I have been quite busy guiding them to the happy present position in the tables. For me the future and the now are more important than the past. But you are right, I shall get new researchers at the next available transfer window. ( or is that the MacDonalds drive-thru? burger

scratchchin Hmm, Filbert..... I'm not sure. How about 'King Power? Or Vardy? angel
I shall carry on tinkering until we have a name that sounds right, yes?

Regarding Chimineas: There would be more light on the Dark Side if they took the bloody roofs off! wink

Set of NS-2R on the rims. Empty the boot and cabin or your 'extras'. Brake fluid change to 5.1 DOT or racing 4 DOT. Some Yellowstuff front pads. Few tweaks of the Gaz's. Fit a rollbar. Good to go.

Emptying the car or your 'extras' will probably take 60kgs out and make a noticeable differnce.

It isn't about being the fastest, it's about being out there. Besides, the more S's out there, the less space for the fast boys wink

Might you be referring to this footage?

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5KdXMK2q6wE

Roughy 3 mins and 8 mins - whilst folks might say they pulled over, I caught them and carried my momentum through the twisty bits. It shows the grunt the bigger displaced cars have in a straight line but equally shows how nimble the S is through the twisty bits.
