Exactly! Beer or ale, either is fine, but we don't want the brain freeze effect of chiiling it until the taste has all but gone. That's what they do in the colonies!
Just below room temperature is what we require for the perfect pint ( unless it's a freezer room, obviously!

Not for me, but I will see you all on Monday....and Glen, I would be worried about the chilled beer....if you stick to room temperature then the tent room temp may well be below freezing ....

Andy, I'm wondering why you are thinking about me in your hotel room? I'm not really that sort of fella. I will be in my tent I'm not unduly bothered about the ambient temperature, I'm more concerned about this awful wind.

But I have been suffering with it for quite a while now, so I'm gradually getting used to it.
