That's handy! I booked earlier on their website. Maybe Debs can get us a discount for a group? Or maybe a discount on the mini-bus into and back out of town?

What are room rates like Joe, I tried the web site, but it says it can't find the booking required, unless they are full.

Cheers Al

I'm going to visit Wim Steijn Van who not only has TVR but also my old Piper GT which I rallied in the 80's

Just to report back, Debs spoke to them and made them aware there might be a few of us. They advised just to make individual bookings via the website for the best rates but there is a provision for notes in the booking form and we put 'TVR Eurotour 2016 group'. Doesnt sound like there is any immediate problem about availability.

Is there any chance Debs could use her language skills to find us a good restaurant for the evening? Assuming you still want to associate with us by the end of the Tour laugh

Mick, I reckon that's the coolest pic I've seen this week!

Barry & I followed a blue Piper GT early on in a Stratford FoM run a couple of years back. The poor driver was getting slowly baked inside that greenhouse of a cockpit ( it was a VERY hot day! ), and he was also getting overcome by fuel & exhaust fumes.
It didn't take us long to get past him wink.

Joe, I thought that the restaurant that Bruno took us to was spot on!
Menu: Half a page of bar snacks and the remainder of the heavy tome devoted to a connoisseur's choice of over 300 different beers! beerbeercloud9

Do you think Debs will be able to find one as good?

If we can find the one Bruno wanted to take us to, but we found closed, that might be good. Can you remember the name of it?

I'm sorry Joe, I don't remember very much at all from that evening drunkbiggrin

I did email Bruno a while ago, but he's not replied as yet. Maybe the PH Mail is not working? Or perhaps he's just frightened yikes

Debs said she will give them a ring tomorrow to find a restaurant with character which will accept dubious characters, she says she will tell them she is only there as interpreter and should not be held responsible! Fair enough I thought!!
