Cheap brake servo's
Discussion
Has anyone thought of making a shield to protect the servo from stone chip damage?
Off the top my head a plate with 4 holes that the servo fixings pass through, then a semi circular plate to match the profile of the servo, I would suggest a small distance away.
Some sort of semi open design so water can't collect in the bottom.

Good idea Chris. I was thinking of doing something like that when I change mine.Off the top my head a plate with 4 holes that the servo fixings pass through, then a semi circular plate to match the profile of the servo, I would suggest a small distance away.

I added an extension to the wheel arch liner, protects both the servo and the bulkhead bearing. Cut from a plastic arch liner off some hatchback or other. I posted pictures at the time but can't find them at the moment.
