Received mine earlier in the week. Just noticed that the price from the website has now doubled! The RRP also has gone up to £379, not sure how that's possible but hey.

Hope you all got in quick and many thanks to OP for the tip, a valuable spot for the S community!

Has anyone thought of making a shield to protect the servo from stone chip damage?

Off the top my head a plate with 4 holes that the servo fixings pass through, then a semi circular plate to match the profile of the servo, I would suggest a small distance away.
Some sort of semi open design so water can't collect in the bottom.

Good idea Chris. I was thinking of doing something like that when I change mine.

Well - i got one after all when it dropped to £113. Now just £88!!!! Anyone still in need - suggest its a good time.

Isn't it already protected by the rear part of the wheel arch liner?

I added an extension to the wheel arch liner, protects both the servo and the bulkhead bearing. Cut from a plastic arch liner off some hatchback or other.
I posted pictures at the time but can't find them at the moment.
