I go off on all sorts of tangents so my apologies for that.

Well other than maybe washing it, my cars ready for the big day.
Sad that Daz can't show up as he's a great laugh and his car is serious!

I've spent the last few days paranoid the car will play up before Sunday so havnt driven it much,,, like that's going to make any difference!!!

I'm looking forward to an early start on Sunday and hopefully a sunny day, forecast on my phone earlier said cloudy but dry.

Qbee are you going Saturday or early Sunday. I'm assuming your trailering the car there.

I am trailering it Alun. Leaving home about 8am Sunday morning. Aim to arrive 10.30 to sign on. Briefing is 11.15, track time 12 noon to 5 pm.
I assume you will be going the non-scenic route - M6, A14, A11. Turning to Lotus is about 10 miles past Snetterton.

As I said earlier today, there's still one space left if booked online. Ignore the "fully booked", Alex assures me there's one place left. Good weather forecast, only have to be there by 10.45. What's not to like?

Nice one Andy, oh and I'm sure we'll let you know what went on, a Griff some Chims and the odd Cerb added to the Mix with a sprinkling of S for taste. hehe should be a recipe for big fun.

I'm all set,,, so I'm ok to leave the tool kit at home then, as I'm driving up I'd rather not carry to much weight so if I have an issue or want to torque my wheels etc can I Borrow the odd spanner.

4 hours ago I washed the car, nice,,,, 5 mins ago the heavens have opened and it's a different day!
PITA !

See you bright and early boys. smile

Edited to add, yes Anthony A14/A11 all the way. Might catch you on the road but I might leave early so I'm there for breakfast. wink

trouble....the ACT cans haven't arrived in time so short of shoving loads of cotton wool up my exhausts I fear my Cerbera will be too loud.

Does anyone have a spare pair of silencers I could borrow? tailpipes are standard 62mm external diam. Here's hoping.....

Cheers

Joe

98db static
102db 3/4 rev range.

So if I interpret that correct it's 102 with pipe up exhaust and 98 drive by.

I'm also going to struggle to get under the limits !

Its 98 at idle and 102 drive by I am told. The website actually says 98db static, 102db 3/4 revs. If there is a drive by, just short shift before you pass it and you should be fine.

Yosini, nobody has asked to borrow my spare set of cans, so you are welcome to. Must admit I thought cerbera pipes were 75mm, just shows what i don't know.
I might even have two spare sets, as my car is borderline qualifying without them. Also Phased has two sets.

We will manage between us.

I'd buy some off you Anthony but you do far more track days than me so other people get the benefit of your generosity,,

98 at idle,, I should just scrape in.
102 should be OK as mines 105 at 4000 revs with monitor up me pipe.

you're a life saver! I just packed my helmet into the Cerb's helmet hole and thought how sad it would be if I was unable to get onto track.

Happy Sundays!

see you all in the morning

thanks again

Bad news. The Reserve isn't finished. Got the rocker covers, hockey sticks, AFMs and hoses to fit. Then need to see if it runs! If it does then I'll run it up to temps and then do a fluid change.

If all goes well I'll head off around 11am. If someone could let the organisers know I'll be late -say 1pmish.

I'll text phazed if / when I leave.
