That's annoying, would love to drive Donnington properly, but I think it clashes with work....I used to be excellent at the TOCA touring cars on the PlayStation 2 there before the other tracks were unlocked....

...watch out for the Meganes as they tended to push me off if I under took them on some of those corners...

Very tempting. Even with a premierlodgedinn stay that'll be cheap.

Apologies, but it seemed the easiest way to alert keen TVR track day enthusiasts to another inexpensive track day

For anyone interested in Donington

The membership form is on their home page www.dprac.co.uk
The trackday application form is on the News tab (not the track day link)

I've emailed Magnitude Events with a question twice in the last 7-10 days and not had an answer. Now I see that their website link isn't working for me. Should I/we be worried...? confused

Classic Line or Manning will not let you include this as part of your allowance as it is not regulated by the ATDO. I insure all my trackdays but I did the last Hethal Day I did without insurance. I was happy with the decision, being a classic car track day there were no idiots and there were very few cars allowed out on track at a time, a little too few IMO but from a risk point of view great.

You are welcome Ian. Magnitude to partner with an insurance company so may be worth getting a quote from them if you are weighing up options
http://www.magnitude-events.co.uk/trackday-car-ins...

If in doubt then I would get the insurance as you don't want the worry to ruin the day. My post above is only my personal option and we all view risk differently. I would personally never do a public Javelin or MSV day without insurance, I know plenty that do but it is not for me as there are a lot of cars on track and also some idiots. The last Hethal day everyone was very curtious on track and all the cars were people's Pride and Joy which makes a difference to the standard of driving when compared to when people turn up in battered old trackday weapons that they don't really care if they crash.
