Cheers, they are growing on me the more i look at them.. think i was expecting something similar to my wing mirrors but he did knock £20 off because i spotted the odd imperfection (oh & took your advice from last year & finally got those chrome nut covers! laugh)

Not sure what to do about the wheel centre situation now tho?

There are various shades of chrome powdercoat finishes that depend on the amount of silver sprayed over the black basecoat, ranging from Bright Chrome, Flash Chrome, Shadow Chrome, then Smoke Chrome to Black Chrome. It's down to the skill of the sprayer as to the uniformity of finish on each batch of wheels.

I think your Shadow Chrome wheels look great Steve. thumbup

*Update*
After failing to get the stubborn badges off my original centre caps (further damaged the already tatty badge on the one) I gave up
I think you need to be a bit more ruthless.laugh The old badges will come off, but you will destroy them in the process.

I drilled a small hole in the existing badges as they were scrap anyway, which allowed me to lever them off.

As the diamond turning on my wheels is suspect, particularly in the centre I have fitted 68mm chrome caps with the lugs removed, screwed to the existing caps with my 57mm pearlescent bages on top. I also was tired of having one chrome locking wheel nut and three dull ones so I have used araldite to glue on some chrome screw cap covers:

I will see if the caps stay on!

These look the same as mine, though it only lists V8S are the V6 OZ's different size?

This is the plastic wheel centre for Vega wheels as fitted to V8S, Griffith and Chimaera.
No idea what a "Vega" wheel is but never seen a Chimaera or Griffith with Oz 8 spokes?

Might be worth a phone call, ask if there is a part number moulded on the back of the cap?

They are all exactly the same. Nice to see TVR Parts reproducing these. Not too bad a price for a brand new item and including the badges.

Reproducing or old stock that has come to light amongst all the stock they have bought up from TVR dealers?

It's promising, they are also listing heater matrix and bonnet catches available, I might give them a call and ask the question.

Hi guys,

I have a few of these caps if anyone is interested. They are all 'NOS', in perfect condition and won't be £100 as listed on TVR Parts smile

If you would like a complete set, please send me a PM biggrin
