I'm on the hunt for a V8 exhaust system, well the rear pipes to be honest. I want to either use the pipes if they're stainless, or use them as a pattern. I'm sure I can fabricate the the pipes, but there's a surprising amount of bends and it's mostly polished stainless, so having them bent to shape rather than welded would look better. Happy to pay if anyone has anything.. Cheers.

I think JP make the systems for ACT so if it is them, maybe worth a call to see it they will sell you the bent tubes on their own.

I have a V8s standard exhaust somewhere. It doesn't have the manifolds though but is all complete. I changed it a few years ago for a ACT system.

What's it worth.

Try RT, he supplied the stainless one on ours about 10 years before we bought her.

It's the standard steel exhaust that run from the Y piece to the rear.

Is this for the S3C? If it is then it should be pretty easy to modify / swap the rear pipes on existing exhaust. Two bends then a single up turn on each pipe. Just need a longer bridge plate to fix to the mounting in the fuel tank cradle. You must know a local exhaust maker?????

It's not that difficult I know Stewart, I've got a tig welding machine and can weld stainless, just pushed for time... Plus, having looked closely at a couple of V8S exhausts, there's quite a few bends under the rear. They actually splay out and then bend twice, quite subtly up under the rear valance. I just want to get it dead right so thought if I can get my hands on the rear section it would make the job a bit easier. biggrin
