If they're for sale, why not say how much they are? Or if you don't know what they're worth stick them on a well known auction site.

If they're £100 I definitely want them, if they're £2000 I definitely don't. It would be useful to know from the advert.

GRRR. Rant over

POA does suggest you'll need to take out a mortgage. They have the old banding again!!

I thought POA was a bit odd?

Give him a call Ray, find out what he wants.. and has he got the centre caps? wink

It does sound like a lot in one go, but if you were to buy a set of naff 8-spokes (with centre caps), pay for a good quality diamond cut and lacquer, and then put a set of decent tyres on, you wouldn't be far off what he's asking.

Painful as it sounds, I tend to agree. Going rate for a single refurbished wheel was about £125-£150 a couple of years ago (without tyre). Refurbs cost about £300-£400 for 4 - Buy some manky 8 spokes now for £75-£100 a pop its getting up to £800 without tyres. Still sounds like a lot of bread though.

Decent set of O.z Splits now Around £1000 too though...... So can see why people go for new Lenso's which look good.

Pity Capri RS 8 spokes don't fit....

They used to do silver ones but cant find them. A guy posted on the S forum and I thought they looked pretty good. Reasonably similar to the original OZs

No laugh But I do know how much it all adds up to from the refurb on my Estorils. It was by no means a top quality powder coat job and, as Phillpot will very quickly point out, I did get them at a very reasonable price in the first place thumbup I did fork out for alloy centre caps and specially turned down socket bolts. I took about two years to finally get them on the car and when I added it all up, I got quite a shock.

I do like those split-rim look-a-likes, especially on the V8S. Almost worth all that extra polishing.

Estorils are my ideal wheel (as you know Joe) and these aren't a bad price really as they're ready painted with new tyres but I have plenty other things to spend my money on at the moment so these will have to wait.

And I'm warming to the CHIM wheels on my new purchase - this is a library pic and the paint colour is not my car (disclaimer)
