Rear Screen Crack
Discussion
Disaster has struck, popped out for an early Sunday drive and discovered this on my return.
Only now I have read it's best to warm the screen before folding, is it just me that always ends up learning the hard way
It's about 10mm long, and I'm not particularly fussed about replacing it just yet, I'm planning on having the targas and now this re-done in the next couple of years anyway so just looking for a solution to stop it cracking further and a suggestion to fill/glue/stick it back together for the meantime, any experience or idea's gratefully received, before I end up moving to the dark side
Thanks
Lawrie

it might be worth considering using the point of a hot needle to melt a tiny hole at each end of the split to try to stop it propagating, before you patch it.
Sound advice. It
is common engineering practise to "stop drill" each end of stress cracks to prevent them propagating further.
