I know that this will have been covered before, but apart from the oz 8 spoke wheels which aftermarket wheels suit the s series best. Pictures would be great.

Not strictly aftermarket, but the later V8Ss came with the Imola 15" 5-spoke wheels as used on the front of 4.0 Chimaeras. They are the same size as the earlier 8-spoke 15" wheels and I think they look good on the S. (The equivalent 16" wheels from the rear of the Chimaera give you a nice subtle upgrade path if you are looking for monster brakes.)

Like this...

I think they would have looked even nicer if they were shadow chrome like wot I asked for!

Comparison with the 8-spoke...

I think the split-rims look good on the 'S'. If wasn't so vain about my gold calipers I'd fit a set of the split-rim look-a-likes with a dark gold centre and polished rims similar to this.

Here are some more....

What colour is your car?

Well...

... okay, miss SOME of you.

The car's just a car. I DO miss it, but I miss my loss of reaction time more.

(And the cabin of a TR4A is a nicer place to be at any speed... The dials are much bigger for starters!)

Yes Graham, I remember the enormous dials, virtually the same as in my old TR-2. Happy days! And I remember back then everything happened in slow motion - like braking for a roundabout...... Not a chance!!! Not when both rear axle seals had decided to fail simultaneously and liberally coat both sets of rear brake shoes with 90 grade hypoid axle oil!. Happy days indeed cloud9
