Retrimming and interior
Discussion
Hey all. If I spot a car I like but don't like the interior then what is the actual feasibility of getting it fully retrimmed? Has anyone done this? Does it show if it hasn't been done properly? Does it require the leathers from the original manufacturer or can a trim company cut the trim themselves using their own hides? Thoughts on cost? Many thanks!

I'm in the northwest but spend half my life in London. Contacts would be handy actually. I think it's one of these things you do via referral as it's such a skilled task. Don't want to end up with saggy seats!
Ah OK, I probably won't be of use then, I restore leather in the midlands, and have trimmers I use fairly frequently in Leicester and S Yorks. If Sheffield is within reach for you I wouldn't hesitate to recommend www.bielawskissheffieldtrimming.co.ukTVR_CS said:

He did a full retrim for me, top quality choice of materials, excellent workmanship.
