I noticed when tidying the boot that there's no spare wheel bracket - is this just unlucky?

Is it possible that later cars

A. didn't have one?

B. were held in with a strap (like in the Chimaera)?

C. just rolled around loose !

PS you've paid for it now, no returns wink

The 'bracket' on mine was a length of very tatty 'elastic' and a couple of small clips held in by tiny self tappers! However the wheel (in its bag or not) jams tightly between the left hand floor and the edge of the boot lid recess and actually stays there!

No it means you don't have a boss sticking out in to the boot damaging other stuff.

Be careful doing that. The previous owner of my s3 did that, and then inflated the tire to its recommended pressure, and cracked the paint and fibreglass in the boot lip and upper wing.

A square wheel can roll smoothly if the ground consists of evenly shaped inverted catenaries of the right size and curvature !

Han, it sounds like it would be suitable for the potholed roads around Stockport!
Or are you talking double Dutch? wink
