Paul - probably just as easy to meet at Tesco in Ashford and us long distance travellers can fuel up?

I'm on the water - 15.40 out on Thursday - gets in at 18.10. Returning on Sunday at 16.05 so will be leaving early on Sunday so I can take scenic route back. I'll see ya'll in't bar on Thursday - think France play footy against Germany then too?

Nothing come through - but timing wise we could aim for 14:30 still at Ashford?

I'll mail my phone number to you

Mike - I'm on the P&O sailing too. Shall we meet up or just try to find each other on the ferry? I'll be coming down via M11, M25 and M2/M20.

Hi Kevin, I'll be coming M40 then round the bottom of the M25. don't think there's much in the way of Services once our paths meet up on the M20?

just keep an eye (or an ear wink ) out for each other at Dover?

True - there's the Tesco at Ashford which is where the train types meet up but that's about it. Otherwise it's the queue once we get inside the port.

There is a services at junc 8 (Maidstone) and another (alongside the M20) just before the channel tunnel, at junction 11

There's a Tesco's store and filling station just off the M20 (Folkestone Exit) at Cheriton. They do a very nice breakfast. :-) I called there on my way to Dover for the 007th Eurotour.

I think it's after the Tunnel terminal exit.

Percy & I have completed the first 200 miles of our trip, now staying at Barry & Jo's. I will carry on to Folkestone tomorrow to catch the 13:20 train to Calais. Anyone else booked on that one? If not, I'll see you in the hotel bar. beerbeer
