Probably just condensation. Maybe there is still eater in there from the EuroTrip? Leave it it out in the sunshine (if we get any) or take it for a long run with the heater and blower on full.

If it's the heater matrix you'd smell it when you were driving with the roof on. If the interior is damp and the car has been left outside a simple water leak is a more likely cause. I think the usual advice with TVRs is to try to make sure the floor leaks more than the roof.

When my car gets wet inside I put a little dehumidifier in and shut everything up as well as I can with the power cord going through the window. This will warm and dry the interior.

presuming coolant has a good dolop of anti freeze in it you get a distinctive "sweet" sort of smell in the car if it is leaking?

Are the footwell carpets (or sponge underneath) sodden with rain water and it's just this slowly drying out?

My carpets were absolutely soaked behind the seats, I think rain water had found its way in through the holes for the seat belt bolts!

Rainwater? On the Eurotour? What rainwater?

( I thought all S's are "Dry summer use only"! ) wink

Steve, it's difficult to know whether it's the Matrix or not. You need to ask Neo or Trinity to consult with the Oracle. wink

So were mine! Passenger side was the worst, and it is still a little bit damp now.

Good idea, I'll check that.

Have you tried opening the doors?

This usually allows most of the water to run out.....

I've decided its not using any coolant, it only steams up when the air is moist and it doesn't smell of coolant and everything i can touch is dry.

i'll carry a bypass solution just in case....
