S is back on the road where it belongs many thanks to the collective knowledge of this forum, the useful links section and those who supplied parts. Quickest was the swirl pot cap at about 5 mins after the crash.
I did put a Subaru alloy rad and its spot on £120 from the bay and a five blade fan at £20 left the bonnet mod until later on.
Very happy with the paint job all new tyres and a geo set up as well bloody good clean on interior and still doing that.I am quite amazed how well everything has clean up very grimy.
Just one thing eludes me and thats a glove box key buggered if I can find it any one have one for beer tokens or jniow where they can be obtained Cheers Andy
Few Pictures if anyone wants info on the Subaru rad etc just email me

Happens to the best of us. Just to make you feel better it could have been worse...
I didn't hit a lamppost in my S3 but I did put it right over an 8ft high hedge... This was back in May 1998 and I'd had the car just 6 weeks. On the way home from a track event at Brands Hatch I had a bit of red mist on a wet country road and learnt the hard way! She was written off (probably due to the expense to steam clean the crap off the drivers seat) and I bought another within a month which I still have to this day.
Glad your is back on the road and looking mighty fine too.

Many thanks bonnet bought just need to have it shipped to my body shop in Leicester
Spoke to Trevor at Tett mouldings who is retiring in six weeks . He wants to try and ensure the S bonnet mouldings survive.
Does any one know of a company or business that would be interested in buying them ?

just browsing over here from the Classics forum, I may be wrong but I think Duncan Ruben has some of the original S series moulds, it might be worth giving him a call
