Anti roll bar is certainly a different diameter on the V8 (thinner 22mm IIRC).No idea if the difference is just taken up with different bushes.
It would make sense to have matching anti roll bar points on the wishbones - but there may not be enough leverage without moving them out.
The steering rack body and chassis mounts are identical. The difference I believe is in the inner balljoints - they have a 20mm extension over the V6 S.
After I converted my old V8S to power steering the manual rack was removed. I sold it with the car to Gizzardio.
I don't know if he would part with it but it could be worth a try.

I had a good hunt around when I picked it all up.
