scratchchin Looks good, but what sort of profile is that rubber? Is it a semi-elliptical section bonded on top of the screen/body interface, or does it actually encompass the windscreen glass edge in a groove?
The usual fitment is flush glazed with a sealant surround.

Well, it looks as if "The Hulk" is really going to town on the Phantom S! bow

Don't say anything to upset him folks, you wouldn't like him when he gets angry! wink

Actually, I'm with you Steve on the best way to improve your P&J. As they demonstrated in the Southern Comfort ad:

Whatever's comfortable!* biggrin

  • Even if it means wearing shirts all ripped down the seams and trousers 4 sizes too small that amazingly never rip!

Yeah yeah yeah, we've heard it all before Steve! You must think we're all a bit green!

Is this Phantom S really a figment of your imagination, aided and abetted by lots of hi-tech photoshop trickery?

Time will tell........ wink

After a lifetime of predominantly night shift work, and a hard day's Robbopopping, I like to wind down with a few wee drams of uisge beatha, the water of life Steve. So you will often find me patrolling the ether in the wee small hours sporting my pink onesie and purple cape. It's just a fact of life when you get to my age smile.

That and the incontinence..... frown

(DJ Voice) this ones for all you robbopoppers out there biggrin

Just to clarify the 'blue' hose will NOT be staying it looks dreadful against the green but its just there temporary until a nice black silicone 2 ply one finally arrives from autosiliconehoses who seem to never have it in stock on the 3 times ive ordered it.. Im also pleasantly surprised at the quality of the ally rad its VERY well put together & has a lifetime warranty according to mishimoto, hopefully shouldnt have leaks anytime soon..

final completion 2weeks, still bonnet hinge mod to do, rad hoses (missing from the kit) etc etc

Bonnet hinge modification completed with gas strut, no more scraping cool
Just waiting on these missing rad hoses, new tyres & finally get the annoying door hinge that had dropped sorted out.

Very nice young Steve, great progress indeed. smile

However I cannot help but notice that your Phantom S has the Shadow of the Big M cast upon it. Will this be a permanent spectre? Or will it metamorphose into a lovely shadow of a big S?
