I'm driving down for the Goodwood Revival next month if that's any good? I'll be camping near Chichester from the Thursday afternoon, departing Monday morning.

Ah, first I need to obtain said beerholders from our artisan Alan's abode.

I can't go anywhere near Leicester for fear of being mistaken for Claudio and getting mobbed again.

Any volunteers for the first stage of the relay? Leics to Cheshire/ Derbyshire?

I plan to attend Oulton Park Gold Cup Meeting on Sun & Mon 28/29th August.

Then the Nomads monthly meet at 6pm on Weds 31st Aug at The Knights' Table/ Travellers' Rest, Quarnford, nr. Buxton, SK17 0SN

I'll be departing for Chichester on Thurs 8th Sept and returning Mon 12th Sept.

Nige. Without sounding like a total anorak, it was a revelation to me that the "cook" in the film the shining, is in fact the voice of hong kong phooey - you learn something every day!

Glen - I wont be going to the festival, but I might well take a drive out and say hello. The noisy beast could do with blowing off some cob-webs
