I may need to know at some point what garages are in my area that can work on my TVR, I am confident my local garage can do the basics but I would imagine at some point I will need somewhere with specific knowledge.

As I am based in East Hampshire can anyone recommend a garage in my part of the world, Hampshire / West Sussex?

I have read on here about all the great places that are well over 100 miles away............

Thanks,

Andrew.

Speak to Richard at Southways in Fareham, he has an S1.5 and a Chimaera in bits too. Him and Steve look after quite a lot of the Hants region TVRs (including my REAL S - LOL). A great guy, he will look after you and not charge silly money, and posts on here as Kitchski.

Thanks Oliver, that's reassuring to know, I am just up the A3 north of Waterlooville so not so far.
Cheers, Andrew.

Going down for a chat tomorrow, hopefully my S will not be condemned, looking to get a major service carried out shortly as no recent history whatsoever.
Thanks again for the nod.

Hope it went well, and Richard was impressed. And that you didn't get burned alive by some failed Chimaera fuel hoses... (See other Southways thread).

Oliver.
I went down today, very interesting setup, a great mix of projects all under one roof.
I am booking mine in for a major service in a couple of weeks so we shall see what is unearthed then. I just hope underneath is not hiding a mass of dramas - we shall see.
All I can do is tackle things bit by bit as budget allows....

Am I right in thinking your region is Yorkshire? A bit of a trek to Fareham?

And yes I have seen the thread re the dodgy hoses, scary stuff

Anyway, pleased to report a great drive down and then back, went cross country and avoided all major roads, drove fine and the sun was shining smile
