Hi,

Anybody know where I can get a female connector for the Speedometer Transducer.

I finally have the new TVR original Transducer ser no AMP 926553 and although it had been promised, it did not arrive with the other side connector.

I have looked through E Bay with neg results and visited two local garages with no joy.

Would prefer to get an original item and reconnect than make it connect if u know what I mean.

AMP is the name of the connector manufacturer and the 926553 is their part number.
I used to work for them for 6 years, so I know this.

According to Google, the connector is a 3-pole Econoseal connector. Maybe this helps a little.

See here : from page 11 onwards

Guys many thanks to you both,

I now have one on route to Spain from EFI parts, had a quick chat with them and they confirmed the piece would fit. That is a very good sight to have in the back pocket.

TVR Rees thanks also for the pages from the catalogue made very good reading.

Keep up the good work,

Well here we go again, still head scratching, fitted the new connector onto the new transducer all put back on the car, got power coming through with ignition on and ...... nothing....

Anybody had this before?

Do I have to reset anything else to get this back on?

Help, not a fan of no speedo working...

Yes its wired the way it came out, but just to be on the safe side I've just tried every combination with no difference.

I've removed it again from the gearbox for ease of testing by spinning it in my hand and I have just taken the cog back off and replaced it again in case that was not seated correctly but still no difference.
