Yeah but if you include labour costs you'll never get your money back, look at "Wheeler Dealers" biggrin

I might have to sell mine next year, and my chassis' A1 (better than original). The body is pretty good, but not perfect.
No idea what I'll get for it, but I'm with you - no way I'm mugging it off, as it'd cost £12k if you wanted to put all that together yourself.
Richard, my advice to you would be: don't make any hasty decision to sell until after you have done at least one S-Club Euro trip.driving I see you have registered your interest for joining our proposed visit to Classic Spa next year. Believe me, it's not to be missed and a warm welcome awaits you from all of us.
You may decide after that experience that your S is well worth hanging on to. smile

Also bear in mind that values are steadily increasing, certainly at a far greater rate than any money in the bank.
With the rebirth of the TVR marque, I foresee values increasing a lot more in the near future.

Just sayin'. smile

The absence of a Euro-Trip folder in my photo album is one of the reasons the S is still here! I do fancy it, it's purely down to money. There's never much of it in my bank account! Don't believe anyone who tells you working on TVRs makes you rich. It could do, if you cut corners, but couldn't do that.

The S was never going to be here forever. I'm sure one day it'll be worth a fortune and I'll regret selling it, but to be honest I'd be more gutted about all the work I put into it, and the effort getting the spec 'just right'. But I will always have other cars, and space to keep them won't always be something I have.

But yes, if I can raise the funds for Euro trip, then Euro trip is definitely on my to-do list next year smile

Now that I have seen your place Richard I can see what you mean. No shortage of work at all, but space is at a premium! Good to see you and some interesting work going on. smile
