Hi all, it's been a year since the sad sale of my S3, but I uncovered 4x original disc brake dust covers in the shed today. Would anyone on here be interested, I hear they are quite rare? Probably more appealing to those who like to keep their alloys clean, rather than those craving the best braking performance wink Cheers, Jim

Like you Jim, I think everybody on here has realised they are bad news and has taken them off. Most of us just binned them. Maybe someone with a show car might be interested?

Mine's still got them on, they've never bothered me and I've never doubted the brakes' ability to lock solid when I mash the pedal! Plus my alloys look great thumbup

They can't be that bad - my S2 had them on, and didn't suffer from brake cooling problems despite being driven hard on track days.

I reckon Jim will have to make a generous charitable donation for somebody to take those off his hands Big Al! wink

Well, by the sounds of it - yes they are now free! Just think, fashion over function for once smile

They are located in Cardiff if anybody wants to collect them, or I can post if the cost is covered. Shame to chuck them in the bin when they keep your alloys so clean!

scratchchin Just a thought..... It would be fitting if AutoAndy was to be the lucky winner! biggrin
