Hi Jaye, yes all ok here thanks ! Hope the same for you and revlimiter and Ellie ;-) I can rent the space for as long as needed, it's heated so we can work during wintertime. Some bolts needed a grinder, rebuild should be easier ! ;-)

Cheers, Han

Small update (as seen on FB) , chassis is back in shiny red. No welding or repairs needed, all good ! let the rebuild begin ;-)

Looking very nice Han.

Amazing that no repairs were required at all. Has it been repaired previously or just a very well look after original?
Mine S3c is low mileage and lived a pampered life yet still needed some sections of the outer tubing replacing.

Thanks for the update on Pistonheads too, for benefit of those that don't 'do' Facebook. thumbup

Whilst you car is at chassis stage. Could you measure the seat belt mounting brackets for me please. Mine had rusted away and I need to get some new ones made. Height from top of outrigger and width is all I need. Thanks.

OK will do, but it's a barn 15 miles from me. I go there every Tuesday evening, can you wait ?

Someone has given me some dims now, but I would like a second measurement, Tuesday would be great. Could you measure the distance from the rear larger tube for me too please. many thanks. Your project is looking good so far, look forward to seeing the end results.

yes saw that, good CAD work ! I already planned to take that measure for you, as said before : only the position of the nut matters ;-)

Hi Han,
excellent work and fantastic progress.
My body-off S2 came to a stop last year and sadly I still have not fitted that nice stainless exhaust which I bought from you many years ago.
But next year, I certainly hope to get things moving again smile
vrolijk kerstfeest !

Sorry, a bit later, but the distance from the middle of the nut to the tube is 150 mm. Both sides ;-)
