Hi,

Ive seen full kits for sale - but ever the bargain hunter, has anyone ever created a list of parts required? with this I should be able to procure a full set in its component parts at a few beans less.

I know what you mean, I need odd hoses but maybe not the full set, especially in one hit anyway. Struggled to find part number etc for individual hoses.
I don't have the meaty V8, just the small 2.8 V6, so the list would be different, but still the same problem.....

"What do I need?" ..... You don't need silicone hoses. Rubber is good enough laugh Don't forget the little bleed hole in the top hose thumbup

I actually think plain old black rubber looks better, more in keeping with the car.
Don't think my top hose has a little bleed hole??

I'm thinking black silicone but was hoping a parts list might already exist?

Legible ink on paper or sensible post, I don't mind.

After reading your original posting again and the fact you are looking for a full set I would imagine buying the full set complete as you see them advertised would be more cost effective than buying all the parts individually?
Just a thought.
Sorry that I cannot answer the question re individual part numbers.
Good Luck in your search.

I buy for a living......

Knowledge is the advantage 'kit sellers' have over me.

I can't see or compare vfm without the knowledge, I'll create a list ....

i suspect a "kit" would contain some purpose made hoses whereas generic hoses tend to be straight or elbows etc. so if you need a longish hose with a bend on the end, for example, it would mean joining two hoses. possibly unsightly and expensive with joiners and extra hose clips?

Some differences between suppliers (or wrong photo) ?

If buying separate hoses (I did) just watch the cost of postage on individual items - it soon racks up.

This may help for the V6 - 2.9i.

The base diagram comes from the original TVR handbook and I measured up each hose and added the details to the diagram. If the V8 has a handbook, you could make the same.

On a funny note. Other than the 2.9v6 picture, no posts have sought to answer the original question.

I'll do a list and share
