Hi

Does anyone else have these wheels and know what centre caps dims are right? I measured the dia of the wheel centre hole, ordered accordingly 48mm dia and they were a few mm too loose.

Also the clip depth would be good know too if anyone's ordered for these before.

Just dont want to keep ordering and returning trial and error.

Cheers

Are the caps for these wheels just plastic "plugs"? I have a set somewhere so I can find and measure them if all you need a re simple plastic "hole covers".

If you order 48mm caps they will more than likely be 48mm outer diameter to fit a hole probably about 42/44mm dia.

For your 48mm hole you need something like a 56mm cap

Hi

Its these that I ordered which don't fit.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00V0HJXFU/ref=pe_3857...

Its says 48 & 60 mm dia on the cap. That's the weird bit as the dia on the diagram on the webpage shows this as slightly smaller . Either way its too small for the centre hole of the wheel.

Sorry, mine are too big for your wheels.

46.5mm isn't going to stay in a 48mm hole!

For the number of times you'll need to remove them you could silicone 'em in?

Ha! yeah true. But I measure 47mm hole on my wheel so when i saw 46.5 i thought fine, 0.5mm will be ok. But then the item arrived with 48mm stamped on it, only to be a lot looser than that..

Anyway, may just silicone em in like you suggest.

I have these wheels! And a green S (albeit with 2 less cylinders...). There aren't many of the S cars with these wheels - the Wedges had something similar but a 5 stud wheel.

They have the centre caps in them, but they're pretty chewed up so was planning on replacing them. Will be at the car this weekend so will try and get one out and take some measurements. Hopefully report back next week!

Apologies...but better late than never!!

I've popped one of mine off today and I measure 48mm inner and 52mm outer diameter, Fortunately mine are in quite good condition, I'm going to order some 46mm TVR logos to stick over the outside to tidy them up.

Pictures below - hope this helps or if you have already sorted then info is here next time someone wants!

Hi

Thanks for checking. Weirdest thing. That's what I had ordered apparently, to fit a 48mm hole. But they measure 46mm across that same dimension as you measured.

I might just try siliconing them in now as I don't want to order another set of "48mm" to receive the same again.

If you find where yours are from or know where I can try, like you know the original wheel name and model ref I could try with them.

Cheers
