Maybe something for your "Christmas list", seen one or two people using these on past Euro Tours (no idea if price is competitive)?

boot top bag

Joe, why are you and your passenger wearing blue ponchos? I thought that your fancy new roof was quick to erect in the event of a cloudburst!

That's because they haven't done the toilet roll holder mod. wink

I can easily stow my pink onesie and spare balaclava behind the seats Mike.

I let him on one of my bikes once, he
didn't seem to think the front wheel had
to be on the ground for some reason

Nice little kit.

I used a patio bag from Ikea and a set of their luggage straps. Add a router mat and you're there.

That said, I'd happily pay the extra NOT to go to Ikea.

I'got one if these and they're good and of course no slumber some luggage rack to fix or stow.

Think orange dodo had one too.

Not overly expensive tbh.

other than the obvious problem that it allows you to carry more sh@t and that the weight and drag affect the sports car performance, I would be a little worried about how well it stays in place in an accident or sudden stop....perhaps you should go the whole hog and do it properly....

I used four luggage straps to hold the bag down (two side to side, two front to back). For all four to fail during an accident would need significant forces. Such forces that a loose bag is the least of your worries.

Guys...
I really do hate doing this at a time of joy & good tidings.
But here's a not so festive story regarding luggage...

A classic car club member (non Tvr) was out in France minding his own business on tour when some xxxxxx git stole his holiday bag from the external (boot) luggage rack. Yes, it was secured with straps & a lock, but still disappeared. His classic insurance said that as it was external to the car it wasn't covered !!! In fact they added, that if it had been inside totally insecure with the roof down, it would have been covered. Typical !
So its maybe something to consider.
Or just use 'that' bag for yer used smalls...

scratchchin I would like to establish whether her externally mounted used smalls are more at risk on the continent, or in Scotland, which is our destination for next year's S Club Eurotour.
Obviously, this only affects the female Eurotourists on the trip, because all the macho male S'ers will be wearing the kilt.

By the way, is there an official S Club tartan?
