these look alot less intrusive compared to my ones & better to be honest. Be interested to see what they look like fitted.. Be sure to try some decent h4 osram nightbreaker bulbs or phillips extremevision to notice a difference over the original bulbs otherwise driving at night will be an erm experience
I think I tried a set of these in the past the Halo was very weak, single led iirc so can only be a sidelight at best I couldn't tell if they were on during the day.. they may have better leds now, but that was my experience.Damian S3
I do agree, unfortunately sometimes the necessity of practicality wins the day.
I'm not sure that I will stick with my chosen lights but I do understand that others that may do a lot more night driving fit them more for practicality.
I was hoping to leave my car as standard as possible, I have however chosen to upgrade the brakes.
This wasn't due to the originals being inadequate it was more to do with modern cars being able to stop that much quicker.
My thoughts are, if you going to use your car on a regular basis it does no harm to upgrade certain elements to make the experience as safe as possible.

So which brake upgrade did you go for? I noticed a BIG difference moving up to 260mm discs, braided brake lines & chimaera calipers (later model ones i think, phillpot will know)I'm not sure that I will stick with my chosen lights but I do understand that others that may do a lot more night driving fit them more for practicality.

Hi,
I opted for the Hi Spec Billet 4 Radial Calipers with 285mm grooved discs, i also had a set of rear discs machined to add the same groove pattern. The pads will be EBC Greenstuff.
I choose to have the Hi Spec logo machined off to allow TVR decals to be added to the Calipers
I've also had a set of braided hoses made, replaced all the brake lines, refurbished the rear calipers and replaced the master cylinder and servo.
