Hi Alan,

Very interested in your Chevette to Mk2 Escort rack conversion.

I have a Sylva Phoenix where i'm certain the rack used is off a Chevette, as are the uprights. I'd like to undertake this conversion and would ask whether the new Godspeed Mk2 escort rack is a fair bit lighter than the Chevette one ? I measured the tube diameter on my Chevette and it's 29mm compared to a H/D Escort Mk2 rack which is 24-25mm. Many thanks David
