Wondering why you need new? These catches are exactly the same source as the bonnet ones with a tiny mod. The catch body isnt obtainable at the moment but he boot one isnt usually a problem as it doesnt get the hammering the bonnet one does. Has anything broken? If not it should be possible to take it off and restore it. Mine is an 88 car which has done a lot of miles but the rear catch is not in bad condition at all....the bonnet catches are another story!!
When you have it off make sure that cable is free and lubricate it, it is a long cable and prone to damage in the boot.

The catch is not in a bad state, so I will restore it.

A quick question, the boot is taken off by the 2 bolts either side. I have taken the nuts off both of them. But cannot shift the bolts. Is there a nut sucken in the fibre glass?

My car had/has no nuts, the bolts thread into bobbins set in the fibreglass.

I think they might be seized as I put a lot of weight behind the ring spanner and nothing moved either side.

A soaking in plus gas it will be and another go.

Not sure why you are taking the boot off? You dont need to to do the catches. Phillpot is right, they are bonded in and if you try too much force the bonds will give and you will have FAR more trouble. Patience and care!!

Ah ha, now I have studied the picture I can see what you mean! Think I might consider carefully cutting off the bonded nuts and using stainless socket heads, stainless washers and nylocks and sealant afterwards. I would be worried about damaging the boot lip if they were seized solid?
