Rear fog switch S3

Hello

Need to check why rear fogs not working.. looks like switch may come out forward without removing centre console but I don't want to break it.. so will the switches come out without removing console or not folks.?

Is there a technique so I don't break tabs etc.?

They will wiggle forward fairly easy from the panel, but may be tricky if the veneer is still in front. There is a risk though that you'll disconnect all the wies form the switch in the process.

Much better to lift the centre console. Just twp screws under the caps at the rear and gear knob off, then you can lift the console up.

Might be right - Hardest part is getting the console back in place while refitting the two flexies to the eyeball vents (If you still have the fly spraying air cooling system in place)

Ok on with this.. tried to pull switch forward ... mistake.. just pulled the plug off the back anyways aside from the horror wiring left by the last couple of specialists to see the car..!!! more on this later.

But basically no tell tale bulb in switch .. must have been lost when apart ?

Been to a couple of motor factors with photo of plug and switch in hand but cant identify the bulb..

Any ideas guys would like to drop for MOT today if I can find one..?

Doh I forgot I had another bulb in front fogs.. switch out connector off now have a sample bulb!

Local factor no help so ventured further afield to Halfords and they had some in type 282 1.2w bought a spare too.

Car dropped off for MOT.. I hope they like my DRLs
