New exhaust anyone ?
Discussion
Spotted this on ebay.
Dont think its a genuine one as the pipes to the silencer are way too long.
Maybe somebodys made a copy and left the pipes to be "cut to suit"
Anyway just a heads up.

I am going to bid on it Andy. It's only about 45 mins from me. I think it may need a bit of work to quieten it down though.
Let me know Glen if your successful. Its about 10 mins from me and I travel back and to from work in a transit van.Could pick it up and arrange delivery as I am only at Carrington so not too far from Stockport.
Congratulations Upperthong, You should have posted on here first, it might have saved you a few £££s. I would have deferred to an S'er in greater need.
My S3c's front oval section has started resonating quite badly on the overrun, it seems that the internal section breaks up and vibrates against the inside of the outer casing.
It was the same with my replacement S1 exhaust ( bought on ebay and fitted for the last trip to Spa. ) The noise was awful Not especially loud, just awful! All the time!

Had a very helpful message from ebay to say even though I missed out on this item, they have plenty more similar items, e.g. BMW 3 Series rear silencer.... Land Rover Defender full system....etc.
Very useful, I should be able to cobble something to fit an S from those.
Rather more helpfully, cnsukltd have messaged me to say they will be auctioning another S2/3 exhaust on Monday.
Anyone else really need one? If not, I'll have another go...
