Swirlpot & radiator mounting bracket colour

I'm starting to put the S2 front end back together after painting the chassis. Does anyone know what colour the swirlpot and rad mounting brackets would have been when they left the factory?

By the way, all the advice from various posts on how to remove the manifolds was invaluable... after 2 weeks of soaking the bolts and then carefully removing, they all came out without incident so my grateful thanks to everyone who takes the time to post.

Same as the chassis?

I believe normal practice was anything from the chassis to a little bracket that could be powder coated was powder coated.... the same colour.

The only stuff that wasn't chassis-colour on an S, was:

• Steering rack clamps (zinc-plated)
• Anti-roll bar clamps (original Ford black standard coating)
• Wishbones & trailing arms on white-chassis'd cars tended to be black.
