Had a new dressing on today so I've now got some
good chassis photos, no plaster on but I've got
a nice piece of stainless steel in there

Careful who you tell that to. You never know who might be after a nice bit of stainless for a little project wink

I think it's quite safe where it is!

Don't listen to him Barry! He's just trying to lull you into a false sense of security.

And welcome home. Now you've got a lot of work to do.
Plus hours of PHing. wink

I was hoping that Barry had a plaster cast.

We could all have cheered him up signing it, leaving warm messages of encouragement and the obligatory cheerful picture of a cock and balls !

All in the true tradition of the craftsmen and their markings at TVR !

Nah, we'll just have to use permanent marker pens, or carve our initials into his leg like the trunk of a tree where young lovers meet.

Actually, TBH, the stitching / stapling would have been better carried out by D&C Trim. They could even have stitched the TVR logo in a prominent place.

To be fair, Barry's surgical team did do a good job of it, but it just lacks that finishing touch.

Update:
Bravely bold Sir Barry has been walking six miles a day with his crutches and has recently started full weight bearing on his new stainless steel leg.
I have been advised by the Mid-Essex RO not to go walking with him because I lack the stamina and pace to keep up with him.
Last Thursday Barry and GARV escorted me for 10 miles to ensure that Percy and I left the Mid-Essex area to return oop norf for the "Thrills in t' th'ills" event.

Our brave soldier has even been back to work on light duties for 2.5 days. bow

I can only dream that one day I will be as fit as our hero and be able to devour a big Wellesbourne brekkie as quickly as he can.

( I think I'd better start saving up for more teeth..... )
