S2 wiper spindle covers broken

The black plastic covers around the windscreen wiper spindles, between the body and fixing nuts, on my S2 are cracked and breaking away. Does anyone know if these can be replaced or do I have to replace the complete spindle assembly?
If they can be replaced, does anyone know what car they are originally from and where to get some?

Originals may be available somewhere, or something like this or this may be aroung the correct angle



I made my replacements from an off-cut of heater hose, nice 'n flexible, seals to the body a treat

Have bought and fitted these in the last week.
First are the plastic bits, next the nuts and finally some rubber seals for the shaft.
The seals aren't a great fit but I have not been able to find the correct ones.

Thanks for the info, I will strip down the wipers and check what I need to buy. Sure saves trying to make one to fit.
