Podie said: No website for Speedy Cables IIRC. Paceracing had the dials done on his S2 (prior to selling up) - so there are some pics on here SOMEWHERE - he started the thread, so look under his name! (I would look, but we've got connection problems and things are S L O W here at the mo!).

here are the pictures you posted

try www.gower-oaks.co.uk which is a part of speedy cables. If you follow their link to caerbont instruments, then customised products, reference there to TVR gauges that they manufacture.

Me, me, me! Sorry, was away for a day or two (or is that awol from PH?? )

Well, I'm definatly interested in column stalks and the rectangular switches and 'elec window , er.. thingy (joystick?)
The two-speed fan switch is a one-speed-only- switch in my S3, since last weekend (), so if I have to get to these switches anyway. I'll probably wait until I know if these ally ones are going to materialise. Who needs a heater anyway, hey, summer's here!!

Count me in. Same arrangement as Pshysobert from memory. Shiny interior door locks would also be nice...

Ok, I can't count all of this in my head, but it looks like we are getting close.. Spoke to Leven this morning and said I'd hang on a little while until we have a few more people confirmed, then get back to them with numbers and hopefully we'll get a price sorted.. In the meantime I'll pull together a list of who wants what arrangement so if anyone else is lurking and is interested, let me know..

Simon, if it is any help I am interested in the indicator stalks if they were developed by leven. Unfortunately, with the house move i cannot commit to them at the moment and hence have not posted on this thread earlier. However, once money is flowing again i would buy some if leven were to produce some.

No such thing as "low rate" mate... you'd be better getting a loan out (around 7.9% APR) as it's cheaper than a credit Card (14.9% APR if you are LUCKY!).

Sainsbury's and Tesco's both do 0% for six months, but then they hop up to about 14.9% VARIABLE APR after that (Tesco does, I have the stuff here).

If you're going to do it, then get ONE card, transfer some stuff and then pay it off... not really my business I know, but don't get sucked into the "free money" trap... the spiral only goes downwards...

Personally, I go by the addage (sp?) that if I can't afford it, I don't buy it. I use a credit Card as it allow the money to be in MY account for longer, and the extra protection it offers in terms of insurance.

and one word for you - fickle

some disparity in your advice was my point Podie!

anyways, still keep telling myself it is the right thing to do spending almost £200k on a house and not on fast cars and loose women. Dont tempt me......

Do what I did, spend half that on the house, go for a flash car, loose women, booze, partying and various fun things like a paraglider and loads of shiny bits for the car..

Oh and I probably waste some cash somewhere too

Living in the people's republic of south yorkshire has a couple of advantages, property prices being one of them.. Or at least it was..

So, back on topic, any more swithces anyone?

Pas de probleme..

Not going to get them manufactured and fitted by Back Home, so not in such a hurry now.. Gives us a bit longer to make sure we have the numbers we need..
