1991 V8s, same config as everyone else

Momo do a good range of, err, shiney knobs, about £40 to £50 and come with nylon insert and 3 small grub screws so should fit most

Cheers, Mark

V8S, 1991

Here is the setup, seems to be like many others !

Active Left stalk: Indicators, Main Beam & Horn.
Right Stalk 1: Wipers-2 positions up, 1 position down and Screen Washer.
Right Stalk 2: Side Lights & Headlights.

Hope they are ready for Christmas, if not before..

I'm intending to give Leven a call this week anyway (for some of their nice ally air vents!) so I'll raise the subject then...!

Like to be added onto the list. 91 S3 same set up.

Don't know if this is a standard bit of ford across the board but:
- while you're speaking to Levern how about a nice replacement for the very nasty ford escort heating controls that sit slap bang in the middle of the dash?

Can someone confirm for me.....

My stalks all work, except for the auto cancel function on the indicators.

So, will the new Leven ones kill two birds with one stone & allow me to solve that problem as well as look cool ???

Heres hoping !

Spoken to Leven at length about these, and they've had my car in for measuring / nosing about... so it's work in progress...

Hi Guys

Just got off the phone with Leven on this subject. The project has died off due lack of interest!!!They are still considering making these stalks and have nearly got enough info on which vehicle(s) the stalks came off in the first place/how they work. As you would imagine the stalk-end switches are the sticking point and may require some switch-gear modification. They are also not convinced that people would really buy them if they were produced. The stalks shouldn't cost substantialy more than the Griff/Chimp ones. Leven don't want to get lumbered with 25 unsold stalk sets. Incidently these are the numbers required to make the project viable.25 firm orders...good, 50 firm orders...better.

We discussed a solution to both problems. If you are taking your S to mania and are interested in doing this mod, go and talk to Leven on the TMS stand (apparently they will have an in-yer-face red awning...almost impossible to miss). The more interest shown the better the chance of the project getting off the ground.

Emma

P.S. Simon at Leven said that he would not really want to take money, even a deposit, from anyone prior to production/delivery. I still think that if you are really interested, walking up to him, waving your chequebook at him, will probably lend credance to your "interest"!

Hmm... I must speak to Simon... I've done my level best to get part numbers of the stalks and have offered my car for measuring.

I'm happy to stick mine down as a firm order... and willing to part with cash...
