rear wheel hub

was stripping the rear wheel hubs the other night,as you do,and found that the thread in the centre part(the bit the nut goes on) was threaded,had to grind off the nut
dont know if it was treaded in the past but all that seemed to be holding my back wheel on was the two remaining threads and some locktight
. does anyone know if these are standard sierra parts as there is no part number on it.
