if your insurance is coming up........

Ive just rung around 20 classic car insurers and best by along way are classic line (01455 639 000). I was told be a rival company that classic line are giving the best quotes on TVRs for some reason at the moment.
Anyway i was quoted £232 on a 1,500 mile policy and £269 on a 3,300 mile. Am 37 no convictions blah blah...car is garaged cat 1 etc. Might be worth a call, next best was carole nash. Happy hunting and if anyone has got a better quote drop a line here although i think ive covered all the major insurers. Best regards Mark
Did you mis it
I bought an S.2 last year. Cost me £190 for 2000 miles a year with A Manning. Changed up to a 350i in August and just had an admin charge to change cover. My renewal came through this week at £305! 350i is a higher group apparently... I muttered about extorsion etc and received a lecture on how much the insurance companies have lost, paying out claims...
Mind you, I did get a good pay out when I failed to guess that a woman driver indicating meant that she was going to go straight on... Thank you insurance company for letting me get a TVR...

Not sure why direct line wouldn't insure as they insure me 29 on my V8S, first performance car ? only 700 for 12,000 miles pa.
