S2 Steering Column Play

I have some play in the column (when you waddle it up and down). Its not serious, but would like to fix it. Is it a simple DIY tightening up job, or a professional column out and refurb job. Note: column bush replaced 19k miles ago.

If the movement is up and down and not when you twist the wheel my first thought would be the bulkhead bearing. Get a torch and shine it onto the bulkhead where the column goes through the bearing and wobble the wheel up and down, if it's the bulkhead bearing you should see the movement.

Edited to say: I know you said you replaced it but that doesn't mean it hasn't failed again. Did you replace it with the metal ball bearing type or the nylon one? The ball bearing type lasts a lot longer.
