When I go over bumps or potholes - the fusebox quite often drops down and lands on the passengers feet. As far as I can work out - there is no retaining screw so it's just a case of tucking the fusebox flap into the lip of the dash. Is this really the case - or have I missed something ?

The ECU and fusebox are just held up by the top footwell panel. Mine seems to hold them in ok, but when I take it out there is a complete mess of spagetti wiring.. not the best design I've ever seen, but hey... it's a TVR!

I remember my old S2 had this held up with velcro. The V8S used a self-tapper through the carpet into the wooden rail that runs along the bottom of the dash. I recently replaced this with a bolt through the rail, with a wing nut on the bottom. Very easy to get at now.

My old S had 2 bolts and wing nuts added to stop it doing that.

That's strange becuase this happened to me also at the weekend managed to wedge it back up again but might have to look at going the wingnut route as the roads are pretty bumpy round here.

Ours does it too and its usually my feet the mangled mess lands on! Bugs just shoves it all back in - I have wedged it up with a pair of shoes before now!!
