My first bit fell off!!

I've had my new toy for about 6 or 7 weeks now, and my first bit fell off today!

The steering wheel boss with the TVR logo fell out. It revealed two wires behind with clips that appear to marry with the back of the boss itself.

Does anyone know if this was a horn? I have the usual horn on the left side stalk so initially assumed not.

If not a horn, what are the wires for?

I have got to thinking that I'll probably just stick it back in place, but I'm interested to find out though

I have 2 red wires on mine, I looks as if the steering well boss in generic in some way and these wires not used as the horn is on the stalk on the S. Thats my idea anyway.

The central boss fell out of my Vixen Moto Lita wheel soon after I got it. Put it back, then wondered why I was being hooted at regular intervals - until I realised it wasn't properly fixed and every bump the car went over set it off No such issue with the V8S - just the accidental hoot now and again when forgetting that the horn is on the end of the indicator stalk!

Think it's becuase the wheel is made by an aftermarket company.. so they have a horn push feature...
