Want to replace my standard ford unit for K&N or similar. Some Q's
For those who have done it, does it make a difference? If so what did you fit and how much did it cost?
Do I just order the part for a 2.9 sierra?
Is K&N the best option?
Cheers.

Sounds good? Take a look on sleepyfish.com for my S3.. Though it has to be said, thats largely the pipe, (or the lack of silencers). I've just 2 K&N cones. fix straight on with jubilee clips. Not sure of a model no, but I'll take a look at them and get back to you..
do you mean sleepy-fish.com if so where on the site don't tease i need to see them

I'm sure that someone here mentioned they we're Piper Cross air-filters fitted by the factory, so the difference in upgrading I'd imagine would be marginal.
BUT If you do kit a K&N and it sounds good, do say
How true, I have'nt looked at the air filter since before the last service (about 4 weeks), and the non decript one has been replaced with a piper cross unit.

Take a look down for S3 Exhaust note..
Might be one or two more somewhere after the littel sound check I did at PF on Saturday. Engine wasn't quite as warm as it should have been so don't do that at home folks..
