Not so sure that there is that many companies actually making them 
. It's worth asking what grades and thickness of SS is in it etc so you can compare like with like. As you may pay more in one garage than another for the same exhaust 
.

PS mine has a stainless system from Wedge automotive, now known as 'RT racing' and have no complaints, if anything it seem to be a better grade/thickness than some I've seen.

When i had mine i brought it from Christopher Neils.
On arrival the fittings where a little out and in the end i had to send mine and the original to the company who supplied C Neils and have it re-done.
It was all sorted with in a week so i had no complaints and CN where apologetic but it wasnt their fault IMO.
Allways though the original sounded better to me for some reason.

Got mine from JP in Maccesfield, they at that time used to advertise in Sprint. I think that D.G., ACT see and possibly RT, etal re-sell them.
Did have a problem with fit initially, getting the correct angle of the down pipes is tricky, did a quick trip up to Macclesfield which sorted it.

dre... i looked at loads of exhaust before getting the peninsular one, its great quality 304 stainless with a lifetime warranty. It also sounds the loudest ive heard...... i did a "loudness" survey at the original S club heaven meet and johnos old S was by far the loudest! Ask pies about it, my V6 sounds louder than hes V8 and that with cats on!

I would have to say that I've never heard a V6 quite like mine.. Anyone up for a sound off sometime?
thanks for the advice and "peninsula" seems to be the one to go for,the only other thing is are all the s3 exhaust the same shape 'ie tail pipes turn upwards...........thanks ps anyone know christopher neils number as i need 2 engine mounts...........

There are three common grades of s/s
304
360
316
304 is typical as its easier to work with than the others (less chrome) i suspect most decent exhausts use this will probabaly give a deeper sound
360 is typical for kitchens and boats (sorry no extra info on this stuff i dont use it)
316 is the dogs dodars but is a sod to work with also it might sound a bit "tiney" but is also very pricy
For more info on S/S contact "stainless Steve" he usuall frequents the Wedges forums

Well that sounds (excuse the pun) like what Markbigears has got fitted,if it is its loud cant remember if hes got split rears,i think he has but cant be sure

It was made specially by Blue Flame. Its not their usual job as its rather loud. I've not heard of them doing another quite like it..
