As all hols money spent on S3 instead, hols this year comprised touring in the 'toy'!

Visited cover of previous sprint magazine - Cheddar Gorge. Gorge obviously is short for Gorgeous sounds bouncing off the cliff walls!

Better still was Hardnott Pass in Lake District. I managed to leave a little of the TVR (exhausts of course) on the road surface, but otherwise was a fantastic day out. I can definitely recommend this area for exercising your Tiv, although the surface has to be watched for the raised bits so they do not pass under the centre of your car. Attached below is pic at top of Pass (not brilliant as wife has not mastered my digi camera yet!)

Apologies for top 'up' pic, but weather at that altitude was not as obliging as that at sea, er, lake level

Having bought the S do you now regret not going on the normal, mundane, boring holiday, fighting your way thro' the crowds at the airport especially if you are booked with BA, getting hot, sticky, sunburnt, gippy tummy and all the other delights OR are you pleased to have seen some of the best parts of this wonderful island (at speed) with your wife in the S.
The experience continues long after the tan has faded

Nice one!
Been there; got the tee-shirt....
But it was in an Opel Monza

Mind you, got to the top of the pass (at 2am) and the manifold was glowing cherry red in the dark
Same trip I was following the 'road' through the top end of the Duddon Valley and misread the 'road' through a 'farm'; I was fair shifting and made a bad judgement call and ended up in a sheep pen next to a sheep dip wondering where the road had gone!
It's got to be done

I long to take my Tiv back over those roads
