well my baby will be delivered to her new owner tomorrow night and my love affair will be over.
Whilst it goes without saying that I shall continue as a PH regular, I would like to thank those of you who have helped me throughout solving my queries and helping me out. In particular, my thanks go to HarryW, Johno, M@H. Without your help the Tiv would have probably spent considerably more time in the hands of David Batty and i would have spent considerably more time at the office to pay for his work....
No doubt the new happy owner will be taking my place on the forum....

Sad day, another bail out from the Sclub and one less for the south coast blats .
I'd like to think it'll be a griff to replace it but I think the golf cart may win you over. Are you going to be mercenary, selling in the summer and buying in the winter shnozz , good in theory but a lot of months to be without a Tiv IMHO.

the noble was a Mungo wind up. Whilst I would love one the budget wont stretch quite that far unfortunately. Besides, a T350C would be tempting if i was spending that sort of cash...
i dont know whats next to be honest. I am determined to keep using a Tiv everyday and am not convinced of S6 reliability yet to do that. So that leaves the V8's of the Chim and Griff.
I guess I will see what is out there, although time is preventing me doing a lot at the moment and it looks like I will be driving my dads spare white van for a while the way things are looking

18,000 miles in the Griffith since October. Only now have I retired it from everyday driving and have a little run around.
I had the same decision to make and decided I could not trust a S6 engine as much as the V8's ...

Shnozz said:Personally, I don't think any of the other engines equal the sound of the Rover V8!

Shnozz said:Hope it's not for too long, especially with this weather! If you find yourself up Reading way of an evening in the course of your TVR hunting, give me a shout.
