Upward Airflow Only
Discussion
Since the glorious and rather warm trip down to Goodwood, my air is stuck pointing skyward, even when I move it to cabin ventilation, I get a pitiful blow, but can feel real pressure above the windscreen vents.
If this likely to be some sort of valve within the airbox activated by cable that has gone kapput?
The heater controls are to put it in Podie's words smotth as a babies, so no problems behind the dash (I hope)

I had a similar problem, the heater controls moved no problems but didn't change the air flow at all.
Check on the heater flap (under the dash to the left of the steering wheel) that when you move the control that the cable moves the flap to redirect the flow to the cabin. Mine didn't because the outer cable sheath had come loose behind the control. Several hours of lying upside down in the passenger footwell and scraped hands later it was re-attached.
