Are there any fairly local dealers that stock S's?

In particular, S3's and S3C's.

I live near to Portsmouth.

not really

Adrian Blythe occasionally has the odd one but these days the cars are too old and of too little value for the dealers to stock to be honest. very rare you see one in a dealers unless its something special - ie a V8S or a V6S with 3 miles on the clock....

I thought as much but put the word out just incase.
I really should get an S owner to give me a go (as a passenger of course) in one at the next meet.

No I took my S in for a new bonnet after an unfortunate incident and noticed it (very nice condition S3C)

adam - if you want to make your way over to hedge end i can lift you up to a hants meet and i am sure one of the chaps there will take you out in an S. Just dont go in HarryW's V8S or Graham's (GBGaffer) Cosworth powered one or you would never be satisfied with a V6 again!

As shnozz and Colin says there should be a few at the H&C meet tomorrow, although shnozz has defected, after being taken out by GBgaffer (?), and I've semi defected (Griffith in use this week!)

Fernhurst did have a low mileage, top dollar, S3 a month back, I see both Dream Machines and David Gerald list one, but both a fair treck from the pompy.

On the subject of the Hants meet, I was considering popping down tomorrow as I'm going to be in Farnham anyway. Are there going to be a few friendly PH faces there, and what time do you normally hang around until?

See thread on general TVR. Usually assemble around 8pm, last depart about last orders, others depart with the departing sun!

Oi - mines still a V6 you know

I can't believe that a gentle run up the road in my car has been the cause of Phil's defection - I'll bet there is a hidden agenda, methinks he doth protest too much about not buying a Noble

Looking forward to meeting up tomorrow

Cheers

..........

A V6.................no ordinary V6................a cossie V6................ a tune special Cossie V6 at that . I'd hate to think what a V8 version, tuned to that level would go like .
Weren't you thinking of sprinting this year in it Graham .

Exactly, it was the comments from the griff500 drivers at the last meet who couldn't keep up on the uphill chugg out of West Meon with Graham that got my ears pricking , bloody quick car thats all i'll say .

How's the search going Phil, I don't buy the 'you haven't got the time at the moment' as you got Rob Ingleby to source the last one .

Grahams car is simply awesome thats all I can say. If i had the time, the money and the use of a second car, I would have been v tempted to do a similar conversion. If it comes up for sale in the future, I would be sorely tempted (although with the money Graham has chucked at it me thinks that is pretty unlikely)

You know me on the search for cars Harry, cards close to the chest. However, pleased to confirm that Mr Aggar has come up trumps. I can only apologise for what you are about to see Harry.....check the profile. Sorry mate, but at least the colour is ok yes?
